Baked Cheese Pav At Swati Snacks Is The Best Meal For Your Vegetarian Bae

What Makes It Awesome

What is the first thing that strikes you when you think of Swati Snacks? It would definitely be that delicious pav bhaji or the immensely popular panki chatni. And then you are so accustomed to ordering perhaps a makai {corn} handvo which is a traditional healthy Gujarati savoury that you inevitably skip the rest of the menu.

So when we went to Swati Snacks for lunch, I was pleasantly surprised when a friend of mine asked for a Baked Cheese Pav. While he was ordering, I mentally imagined something like the usual masala pav we get at the regular pav bhaji outlets. When the dish finally arrived, it looked so gourmet.

This is your neighbourhood snack item being upgraded in style. We were served cubes of pav with a topping of pav bhaji and cheese perfectly baked in an oven. It had the right amount of spice and also scored over the traditional masala pavs as this one is baked and does not make your hands greasy and oily. A perfect finger food that ideally should be shared as the portion is fairly large for a single person to finish.

What Could Be Better?

Swati Snacks is a hugely popular eatery for Gujarati snacks and so on weekends you may have to wait longer to get in.

What's My Pro Tip?

Don't miss the Day's special menu. You may come across some really interesting food items. The satpadi roti and gatta nu shak is a must try dish.

Anything Else?

Swati Snacks now has another branch at Nariman Point in case you wanna enjoy the meal in a true SoBo style.
