I recently placed an order for some collectibles from Abhijeet Kini Studios. Last year, he and his wife had come up with a very local Mumbaiyya series made out of terracotta, called The Rhymefighters, that are typical of the city.
You'll find 3 variants currently - the Mumbai dabbawala, the traffic cop and the paanwala that are handmade and hand painted. What I love is the detailing. Small things like the paanwala having his entire apparatus around him, the play with the colours and how genuine they look is what makes them so awesome.
