Meat Lovers, Unite: This New Bandra Eatery Is Serving A Delicious Bohri Thal

A New Bohri cuisine experience has arrived in Bandra to blow your mind. The Thal Co opens doors to the public on September 9 and you should go here with your buddies because there’s nothing more communal than a Bohri experience.

The Thal Co is a unique Bohri experience by Avinash Bhatia who started this to share his love for Bohri food with the community that may not be privy to the Bohri cuisine.

The eatery is a cosy space that’s opened up on Hill Road, and engages in the communal way of eating. With low lying circular tables, the concept is to serve the big thal and have people eat off the plate. Here they will be serving a Bohri meal which is basically a big plate where you get portions of a six course meal. There’s starters with kokum bateta, soups and salads, mains, and desserts.

There’s going to be a change up in the menu every two-three weeks, and the elements on the thal will keep changing. However, people can also order a la carte dishes right off the menu. A thal here is priced at INR 786 per person {exclusive of taxes}.

The Bohri thal experience is a unique concept. It makes for a fitting family outing, or a large group of friends. It opens to the public on September 9. Do work up an appetite before you head there, you won’t regret that.
