The fork tale is a place with a really nice ambiance and amazing staff.
The new restaurant in Mumbai fort. Good for family and friends hang out. The royal Ambiance is located in a fort near BSE. Fork tale has launched the new concept of unlimited Thali with almost 15-16 varieties. They have really nice separate 3 versions of a thali.
The Patiala Thali: A traditional North Indian thali with 1 welcome drink, 1 soup, 2 chat, 4 starters, 4 veg Gravy, 1 dal, and 2 desserts.
Say Cheese: A continental thali with 1 welcome drink, 1 starter, pizza, pasta and 1 dessert (basically suitable for kids)
And the Supreme, Global desi Thali: A combination of Patiala and say Cheese thali. Basically includes everything.
We tried,
Patiala thali:
Started with the welcome drinks, had an orange flavored Mocktail which was damn refreshing.
Chaat: In chaat, we had Dahi Papdi Chaat. Traditional flavors of chaat with curd and all Indian spices. This was garnished with sev and pomegranate.
The chana chaat: The tangy and little spicy chana boiled and mixed with peanut and other spices. This was good in taste.
In the Indian course,
Soup, had a Tomato Shorba: A tangy sweet and hot shorba was good in taste. In Thali, they serve you the small portions of everything. You can ask for any of the things if you want to repeat the order.
Appetizers,
All 6 appetizers came in a platter. Which consists of paneer tikka, corn tikki, hara bhara kabab, tandoori corn, naram dil kabab, and seekh kabab.
All the appetizers were really good in taste and the texture was very good. The flavors of all the ingredients were coming out really well.
In the main course, they served paneer tikka masala, veg handi, chole, and veg kofta. The kofta was really nice. The chole had a little Punjabi flavor to it, the paneer was soft with rich gravy. Was just delighted after having it.
The last course of the meal was just amazing. The desserts here are super amazing. In Patiala Thaali, they had chocolate mousse and chocolate walnut brownie. Both were really amazing. The chocolate was amazing and even the presentation was really good.
Overall had a great time with friends.
Special thanks to Mr. Mahendra for such a delightful experience. One of the fun loving person I have ever met.
