The Bombay Earth – went for lunch with a friend.
The place is huge. It’s a part of Eskay resort and thus the restaurant caters to all who stay here. Its pure vegetarian restaurant. Its all-glass restaurant and thus in bright daylight avoid seating near the window as it gets hot. The price is decent and it is not heavy on pockets.
The food we had -
Dry Manchurian (4/5) – the perfect Manchurian and delicious.
Tandoori platter (4/5) – a great way to enjoy a veg starter- tandoori cauliflower, paneer tikka, mushroom tikka, sheek kabab, baby corn and tandoori aloo.
Cheese corn balls (3/5) – In taste they were good but it was very oily and I didn’t like that.
Veg Rajasthani (4/5) – A mix veggies with Rajasthani touch to it. It was good. I would highly recommend it.
Masala khichdi tadka (5/5) – It was the best dish I had over there. The tadka was perfect and khichdi tasted heaven.
A great place for a big family or a group of friends – where you can enjoy good food at a decent cost.
Drinks we had-
Activated batman (5/5) – This is by far the best cocktail I had till date. Its rum-based and the alcohol content was perfect and the taste was superb.
Eskay Escort (4/5) – Whiskey based cocktail
Double fudge (3.5/5) – rum-based cocktail
Star martini (3.5/5) – Vodka based cocktail
