One of the last few hand-churned ice cream parlours in the city, the iconic Taj Icecream, the creator of sancha ice creams started off in 1887 (now that's iconic!)
If you're wondering what sancha stands for, it's basically the wooden barrels with copper canisters that need to be turned by hand.
But, while some of us have paid homage to this legendary parlour in Behndi Bazaar or Bandra East, you'll be happy to know (well, we're thrilled!) that it's finally opened in Bandra West (in Pali Naka).
The Bandra West outlet has even introduced new flavours and milkshakes, like the Lindt dark chocolate sea salt, mix fruit, kesar pista and many more. You can even try some of their milkshakes like the Kit Kat, Malteasers and more.
What we truly love is that their ice creams are freshly made each morning and have no added colours or preservatives. Make your way here already and beat the summer heat with some real goodness, guys!
