What Makes It Awesome?

Nav Chaitanya has been serving delicious Maharashtrian, Malwani and Coastal food for a long time around Dadar. They have recently opened their 2nd outlet at Versova. The most soulful seafood thali experience with an authentic Maharashtrian and Malwani experience. This restaurant is located close to the link road and has easy access to parking along with a valet.

Large spacious interiors, simple decor, elegant wall art depicting the Cuisine and matched with some really good service are some of the highlights of this place.

Coming to the core which is the food.
We had ordered the following :
>Seer Fish Fry
>Prawn Special Thali
>Kakdicha Dhondas

Chaitanya special Prawns thali priced at INR 550 which had at least 20 to 25 prawns across all assortments and has an unlimited serving option. Fried Prawns, Prawns Masala, Bhujna, Jawala Kismoor, Fish Curry, Dry Vegetable, Chapati and Prawn Rice.

The Seer Fish fry was fresh and juicy with a good coat of Rawa. With the perfect crispy texture, one would expect.

For the dessert, we had the Kakdicha Dhondas which is a classic old school Coastal cuisine of making pudding with Cucumber. Does not sound great but it was delicious.

Overall a great place to visit with your family, seafood lovers and also people who prefer authentic coastal, Malwani and Maharashtrian cuisine.
