The cafe is the brainchild of Zenia Billimoria, who started this off after a hectic decade of a corporate life. Along with her husband, the Billimorias decided to launch their own authentic Parsi cafe which mainly focuses on home-delivery options.
Everything here is home cooked, with Zenia’s own recipes. ‘Ghernu Bhonu‘ in Parsi means home made and that’s the USP of this place. They make everything as per order, and do not carry on the waste onto the next day. On most days, the food gets over by 9.30 or 10pm.
They have chicken farcha {INR 250}, papeta par edu {INR 175} which is made with potato, tomatoes, salli and topped with egg aka edu. Sounds yum, doesn’t it? They also have pooro-Parsi omelette {full of spices and super oily for INR 175}. If you’ve never been to a Parsi wedding, that’s alright, they’ll conjure up a delicious full meal of Lagan Nu Patru, which is basically wedding meals {vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian}.
They are also doing old school style kulfi.
So, We're Saying...
They are open for delivery and you can give them a call and place the order. They are shut on Tuesdays, and are open on other days from 12.30pm to 10.30pm.
