There's A Waffle Store In Ghatkopar Serving Seven Different & Delicious Flavours

The Waffle Factory, which was a waffle truck stationed opposite R-Odeon Mall in Ghatkopar, is now a cute tiny cafe in the same area. It is serving up delicious waffles in at least seven flavours, and we are obsessed.

The Waffle Truck in Ghatkopar has been started off by Parin Thaker, a Ghatkopar born and brought up boy. For him the idea behind the waffle truck was to familiarise the residents of the area to the concept of eating waffles at a food truck. Since Ghatkopar has a big population of the Gujaratis and Jains, the waffles are prepared in the Jain manner and are pure vegetarian.

If you’ve got a sweet tooth, go for the crackling chocolate waffle {INR 100} with bits of crackle chocolate melted on top of it or for the TWF explosion {INR 170}, which includes Nutella and strawberry bits. The waffles are affordable, crispy and made there and then. We loved the quick preparation at the food truck, and are already planning our trip down to the truck.

#LBBTip: They are soon opening a proper outlet in the same vicinity, however, the truck will remain there for a few days, post which it’ll shift to the new location.

Interesting things are happening in Ghatkopar and this waffle truck is a must try. Get off at the Ghatkopar Metro station, take an auto {it’ll take INR 28 approx} to R-Odeon Mall. The truck is right there everyday sans Monday 6pm onwards.
