Located in Trade Work B in Kamla Mills Compound on Senapati Bapat Road, Lower Parel; 1441 Pizzeria is a Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian Italian restaurant serving not just pizzas but experience with it. The place is walking distance from Elphiston Station. They have a seating of approximately 20-26 people. With chic yellow lights and simple frames as well as red and green chairs and wooden tables; the outlet has kept it simple stylish décor for an authentic Italian feeling. The outlet was opened in February 2018 and they have taken care about the safety precautions too in case of fire.
I visited the outlet yesterday with my friend and we could find space easily since we went on a working day during lunchtime. The kitchen is open and you can see your pizza and side dish prepared in front of you. The staff including the Manager Mr.Sunil was very polite and friendly. They definitely gave some good suggestions to pick from. Below are the food and drinks we tried at the outlet:
# Jalapeno Poppers – Crushed Jalapenos with mixed with cheese and served in a basket with Jalapeno Dip. It was a nice appetizer to start with.
# Cheese Burst Calazone – Crispy and loaded with melted cheese and jalapenos; this was a heavenly treat and definitely recommended to try.
# Make Your Own Pizza – Their Pizza dough comes from Italy and the Oven material is imported from there too which is then assembled locally. For the pizzas, we went for Make-Your-Own-Pizza option which can be customised according to your choices. There are various options to choose from starting from the base which can be either 8” or 11” and then adding the sauce – Jain or Mama which is made in Indian way or else opt for Italian which is made from the canned tomato=es imported from Italy. Then the cheese and toppings come to play their role and you can have your unique combination in your pizza with any or many of these unlimited type toppings. It’s simply an experience to relish. After making your pizza the same is put in the wood-fired oven to make it crisp and perfect. We went for an 8” customised pizza and really loved our combination. Definitely try your hands on this and you will relish it. This can be done from 3-7pm but definitely check with the outlet before visiting and you will cherish the experience.
# Nutella Dough Balls – This is absolute must have here. We loved the taste as well as the presentation of this. Recommended.
# Litchee Lemonade – A relieving drink which is perfect to quench your thirst.
# Peach Iced Tea – A peach flavoured Iced Tea which went well with the Pizzas.
Overall, its really a nice place especially don’t miss the Make Your Own Pizza for an experience. Staff is friendly and you will have a unique experience.
