Sprawling over 72,000 sq ft. Crawford Market is one of the most popular and iconic wholesale/retail bazaar in South Mumbai, with its history dating back to British rule in the late 18th century. It was initially called the Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Market, but was later on changed to Crawford Market - a name derived from the then municipal commissioner - Arthur Crawford.

The market in itself includes multiple lanes including Abdul Rehman Street, Lohar Chawl, Mirchi gaali Mangaldas market, flower laner and many more. This is one market for ALL your needs, literally! Decor, artificial flowers, wedding decor, party accessories, stationery, accessories, dry fruit, spices, beauty and makeup, home and kitchen essentials. EVERYTHING.

One of the obvious reasons as to why Mumbaikars love flocking to this market is the insane vareity and products it offers at super affordable rates.

The best way to get to this market is taking a Western local train to Marine Lines, from where it's a 15-minute walk or you can take a cab from the station. Or you can also get off at CST station from where you can again take a cab to reach here.
