It’s an ecosystem of its own, Powai. If you’re not familiar with its success story, here’s a summary: 25 years ago, nothing existed in the area apart from L&T and IIT Mumbai. The Hiranandanis transformed the area, and, today, it’s a well-planned, beautiful, almost self-sufficient part of the city… With its own lake! And views of hills in the distance. And nice weather because it’s so close to Aarey.

How To Reach: Depends on where you start! Powai is on the Central Railway line, so if you’re coming from Western or Harbour Line areas, you can switch trains at Dadar or Kurla, respectively.
Alternatively, you could also opt to take the Versova-Ghatkopar metro, get off at Saki Naka, and take a riksha.
