From the busy and rich vicinity of Andheri, there's 18th Century Rooftop Bar which allows you to experience the actual ancient 18th Century. A huge space with indoor and outdoor space with mesmerizing rooftop experience.
The menu has been carefully curated by choosing dishes from continental, north Indian and some mix-matched fusions with some great range of fine spirits and mocktails. Service was a bit slow down. Needs to be bucked up.
Among the appetizers, we started off with Jalapeno Poppers, Vada Pav Bao and Spicy Tomato Rasam. Jalapeno Poppers were pieces of bread topped with a thick layer of cheese and jalapenos. Balanced well. VadaPav Bao was something exceptionally good. Baos filled in with Vada stuffing served with Masala Tea. Do try this out. Spicy Tomato Rasam was average in taste, it was pizza tossed with tomato rasam. Flavours didn't go well. Needs a bit tuning with this.
For mains, we called for Paneer Butter Masala and Hakka Noodles. Paneer Butter Masala was rich gravy with paneer cubes. Balanced Well, not too sweet. Hakka Noodles was big on flavours with veggies on it. Tasty and superb.
Ended up our meal with Hunger Strike Over which was deep-fried sticks with chocolates infused in it. Highly recommended.
Overall, the service needs to be improved as in this monotonous life no one would love waiting for 30-45 mins for a particular dish. Loved the hospitality and the server was a sweet host. Looking forward to visit this place soon again!
