Bike Shark, located in Borivali is one of the oldest establishments {even we found out only today} dealing in bicycles for every budget and accessories for bicycles and riders too.

What Makes It Awesome

Bike Shark, started purely as a passion project is the brainchild of two professional cyclists, Arun Rajpurohit and Dhiren Bontra. Having started in 2012, Bike Shark has evolved to become one of the finest and most premium bicycle shops in the city, with their second branch in Andheri.

We were amazed to see how much effort goes into designing a bicycle for a cyclist. From body measurements to accessories, every little aspect is very subjective of the rider.
At Bike Shark, you can shop for a bicycle anywhere between INR 14,000 to INR 8,00,000 {yes, it is expensive than the motorbike you're currently riding}. They house multiple varieties of every type of bicycle, be it an MTB {used for off-roading and casual riding}, a hybrid {more oftenly used on roads and mountain trails} or a road bike {used mainly for sporting events like races}.

We found headlights {INR 1,300 and upwards}, taillights {INR 700 and upwards} and helmets {INR 2,000 and upwards} that we really wanted to shop for, for our own bicycles. In the spares and accessories section, they also have everything from saddles and frame bags to tires and tubes. What we loved about it was how they actually catered to almost every budget bracket, so there was something for everyone {we didn't go back upset either}.
The good folks at BikeShark offer brilliant after-sales service wherein you can avail upto 1 free service and 1 year of free maintenance for your bicycle.

For those who own a bike or have purchased one from BikeShark, and are riding freaks but don't know routes or trails, just follow them on their Facebook page where they organize these meetups at very regular intervals and you can join for absolutely free!

The most striking feature of this space is the workstation that is adjoining the shop- an airconditioned workstation where your bicycle is treated with utmost care and serviced to perfection. Caffeine lovers will be in for a surprise, as there is a hidden {more like tucked away} cafe at the end of the workstation that offers delicious imported coffee to sip on while your bicycle is getting pampered.

Every bicycle and accessory at BikeShark is imported majorly from Germany, Italy, USA and Japan, so while the pricing ight prove to be a little steep, it is worth every penny spent on your love for cycling.
