We love the shop ‘Real Deal’ at Colaba Causeway because that’s where we get our super colourful skirts, pyjamas and all things funky from {and it’s SO pocket-friendly}.

Colaba Causeway is obviously one of our favourite places for street shopping. And while we’re experts at bargaining and picking up the fanciest of clothes off the street, we sometimes wander around into stores that totally amaze us. One such store in Real Deal, which is located right at Causeway {opposite Bank of Baroda}. We love this store for its beautiful collection of long, flowy skirts {INR 695}, loose, comfortable pyjamas {INR 450}, awesome kurtis {INR 400 onwards}, and beautiful dresses {INR 590}. They also have graphic tees {INR 400-500} inside the store.

The story is offbeat, very Bohemian in nature, to be honest, and is hugely popular with foreigners given that it has all the Indian hippie clothing. You must try the harem pants here that are amazing- airy and comfortable, and totally perfect for the sticky Mumbai summers. We truly appreciate the fact that the staff here lets you be and doesn’t harrow you while you’re looking around. The store is well-stocked and very well priced, and we personally keep coming back here for more.
