Mumbai Is Having Its First-Ever Social Reform History Walk, And It's Only For INR 100

I was fortunate to be invited for a demo walk for Parivartak, a heritage walk about India's social movements and reformers who worked in India after the British rule.

In utmost honesty, I wasn't really interested as the subject did not connect to me. At all. But, going for the demo was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

The two-hour-long walk talks about both the tangible and intangible aspects of the social heritage of India. This walk was about stories - the narrator's personal stories, as well as those of this other time.

The walk was immersive, social and captivating in every aspect and is a must for all.

The walk could be cut down in length, as you could feel a lot of information overload.

It's a 2 km walk, so be prepared to stretch yourself a little.

The experience is making its debut on Awestrich's #HeritageWeekend on Friday, April 21. And it's only for INR 100.
