Mexican Jain Food Is A Real Thing & This Cutesy Hidden Pop-Up In Bandra Does It SO Right

Without exhibiting much flourish, Mexican Express is a cosy place that's all about serving authentic Mexican cuisine at a price that doesn’t make you pay through the nose.

Whether it’s their Fiesta Nachos or the Taco Salad Bowl, quesadilla or burrito bowls, enchiladas or hard-shelled tacos, everything on the menu here can be made Jain easily. I am absolutely in love with their take on the Jain Guacamole. Oh, and it's such a relief that you don't have to go crazy trying to make the staff understand your Jain requirements. For dessert, their nutella and brownie stuffed quesadilla is a must-try, trust me, it'll take you to chocolate heaven.

All in all, it’s heartily refreshing that they serve you classic Mexicano straight up, packed with flavour in every bite, without much ado around careful plating & all that jazz.

Since it’s a pop-up, they have limited seating and that's why they don't reserve tables in advance, which is kind of a bummer. I'd suggest that you land up before peak hours kick in.
