What Makes It Awesome?

Finally, the much-loved Chocolate heaven cafe comes to Mulund. The ambience of the Chocolate Heaven Mulund outlet is quite lit yet not over-the-top and the food is delish! We found some of the dishes to be slightly over-priced but overall, the place makes for a good celebratory meal.

Here is a list of all the dishes we tried. We have arranged them in the Ascending order - BEST ONES FIRST.

1. KitKat Shake 270 INR - Extremely photogenic and exceptionally tasty, this KitKat shake is one of the best in the city! It's thick and is topped with a lot of whipped cream. I am not personally a whipped cream person (I would rather prefer a scoop of vanilla ice cream) but I did enjoy sipping on this thick and creamy KitKat shake.

2. Mexican Tartlets - 265 INR - I had tried the Mexican tartlets at The Mahim Chocolate Heaven a year ago and had loved it royally. The memory of how much I had loved it made me want to repeat this order and I loved it equally this time around. The chewy tartlets are filled with balanced Tomatoes, sauteed onions and baked beans and topped with a lot of cheese and a few olives. They aren't as spicy as one would expect Mexican tarts to be but are still quite flavourful.

3. Watermelon Mojito - 198 INR - I have never had a flavoured mojito which retains the flavour of mint as strongly as in this one. Loved it. Slightly expensive for a water-based beverage but quite good. I might myself reorder this on my next visit to Chocolate Heaven.

4. Paneer Makhani Pizza - 460 INR ( Capsicum- Onion - Tomatoes) - If you are a fan of Indian pizza you will love this thin-crust baby a little too much. Indian makhani gravy is used as pizza sauce here and the quantity of cheese used is quite proportionate. A little more cheese for the price one pays would have been appreciation worthy, nevertheless, this crispy baked thin crust pizza is a good dish to savour on.

5. Ferrero Rocher Sundae (265 INR): Crumbs of Ferrero chocolate with scoops of rich ice cream chocolate ice cream make for a deadly combination. Value for money.

6. Nachos with cheese (230 INR): Just the usual crispy tortilla chips served with yellow liquid cheese sauce and some salsa on the size. Serving portion of this dish is average.

7. Make your pasta (370 INR): The serving portion was just enough for 4 people to taste and that was a disappointment. The pasta came with two slices of Garlic Breads which tasted decent. The pasta wasn't as runny/creamy as one would like it to be but that doesn't take away the fact that it was well-cooked. We did not love it but neither did we dislike it. And when the last dish on the taste metre isn't disliked that speaks volumes about the overall food that a place serves.

In a Nutshell:
Service: 5/5
Food: 5/5
Ambience: 4.5/5

Will we revisit this place: YES!
