What do you call a new place which is one the best launches of 2018, is loved by everyone in the industry, has lit interiors, and serves lip-smacking food and drinks? Well, you call it LILT.
The lights at the entrance are trippy, and the interiors just floored us. The wooden interiors with beautiful lights everywhere make the place look amazing. The bar has rolling wooden caskets with the bottles nicely placed, and the bartenders are super quick with the service.
The place is huge and is distinctively separated with two different bars, three seating areas, two standing areas with a dance floor, a DJ console, and there are two roof spaces upstairs with large tables specifically for larger groups.
The lights keep dimming every two hours, and the music volume increases slowly, and the place changes its vibe from a bar to a downtown club.
Some delicious food and cocktails that we tried are:
• The Prenelli - vodka + coffee + espresso shots + hazelnut syrup
• Old Main - gin + mint + cucumber + sweet & sour
• Rum Canela - dark rum + jaggery + honey + cinnamon
• Sangrias and beers kept us happy high on the dance floor
• Prawns K Mangti - juicy prawns on crispy wheat toast. The toast was fried so it was a bit oily, but the dish wasn't bad at all.
• Sweet Potato-Five Spice - Chinese five-spiced sweet potato cooked on charcoal was delicious and well, so was the Kafir lemon based potato
• Malaysian Sambal Prawn was properly cooked, and the sambal was perfect too; not too spicy
• Kashmiri Chilli and Soya Sesame Chicken was the star dish for us. It was sweet, spicy, and crispy at the same time. (YUM!)
This place is clubbing goals and a must-visit.
