Love Asian and Chinese? Head to Khow Chow. Located opposite of Nationals College and besides Bombay Coffee House, this place is literally a delight for Asian Food lovers. Went to this place today with my friend for dinner.
Firstly we started with Soups since it was quite chilled outside. So we ordered Sweet Corn Soup and Chef Special Veg Thai Soup. Both the soups were pretty disappointing!
And then we ordered Yam Woon Sen Salad. This was altogether a different type of salad made up of sweet and spicy glass noodles. A must-try.
Then we ordered Taronest. This is something you shouldn't miss on. It was basically a crunchy noodle nest tossed with Thai chilli sauce and filled with exotic vegetables. Wow!
We also ordered Veg Dimsum Basket. 4 types of dimsums in 1 basket - edamame, crystal, veg and shiitake mushrooms. All of them were just so good
Later we ordered Exotic Veg Sizzler. The base of fried rice and topped with exotic vegetables and french fries and tossed in black pepper sauce. Loved it
For mocktails, we ordered from their today's specials - Pomegranate and basil virgin margarita & Green Apple Drink. Both were amazing.
And for desserts, we tried Chocolate Rose and Peanut Butter Pie. Chocolate Rose was dark chocolate in the shape of rose filled with caramel and served with vanilla icecream. This was quite average! While Peanut butter pie was a star for me. Don't miss on Peanut butter pie.
