What Makes It Awesome

Drifters Tap Station has a wide range of hand crafted beers. Right from the Hefeweizen till Pina Colada Ale, every beer here is unique. The ambience of this place is great with a chill vibe. The food menu is also very comprehensive with a wide variety in bar bites, appetizers and mains. The beers are value for money considering the location. We tried Lemongrass White IPA, Lavender White IPA, Czech Amber Lager, Black Hefeweizen and none of them disappointed me. Be it the Lemongrass white IPA with the citric hint, the Lavender White IPA that has a unique but lovely combination of the bitterness of the beer and the lavender which gives a relief from that and the two classic european beers i.e. Czech Amber Lager and the Black Hefeweizen, each one was really good. Copper-Amber coloured Czech lager which is smooth and has a caramely after taste and the Black Hefeweizen, classic 'dunkel' or dark beer which has a combination of light roast and light dark chocolate like taste. In food we tried Butter Garlic Prawns, Bacon Wrapped Chicken, Chicken A la Kiev, and Pepperoni Cheese flatbread. The Bacon wrapped Chicken was the best of the bar bites offered here, also the Pepperoni Cheese flatbread was soft and had a thin crust so was a bit crisp too! It did go well with the beers. Chicken A La Kiev had a stuffed, crumbed and deep fried chicken breast which is ultra crisp on the outside, accompanied by a creamy mushroom sauce with veggies and mashed potatoes. For desserts we chose Sizzling Brownie with ice cream and the Tiramisu. The brownie here is ultra soft unlike some other places which have rock solid brownies which need efforts to break them and the Tiramisu here is a MUST TRY in the dessert menu. It's really light and does not have ultra heavy flavours or texture. I am sure one can gobble it up easily and you just might end up ordering more of it.
