If you're on the lookout for authentic South Indian food to satisfy your soul, your search invariably leads you to Matunga aka the South Indian food Mecca of this city. But what if we told you that we found one of the best South Indian food (we mean it!) in Borivali? Not only that, but they are also open for delivery.
What We Love: Rasam Vada (fresh and crispy vadas dunked in hot pepper rasam), yummy Malabar curry that tastes like a desi version of Thai curry, soft appams which we can go on eating, Bisibele Bhat, Coorg Idli with their orange chutney and lastly the Sri Lankan Style idli with a steaming ptato stew. For purists, there is always good ol' Thairu Sadham (curd rice) and Sambhar Sadham. It works wonders, trust us.
The food is always light, refreshing and really brings a change in food that we’ve been craving for a while now. It might seem a little heavy on your pocket, but take our word for it; the price is definitely justified for the quantity and quality offered.
Cost: INR 200 – INR 500 for one person.
