For Trippy Weekends: Andheri's Tipsy Gypsy Has Top Notch Food And Cocktails

Andheri West's all-day casual dining cum gastropub offering a live music experience that Mumbai has never seen before. Tipsy Gypsy at Fun Republic Mall is all set to win you over.

With the theme of ‘Exist or Live’, they really have left no stone unturned when it comes to making you feel alive. Especially their food menu designed by Chef Dev Singh Negi, which surprised us with its unconventional presentation and killer flavours. We started with their Paneer Pops (INR 249) with some thecha mayo, Pickled Shrooms (INR 279) which have aachari mushrooms cooked in juicy perfection and Dilliwalla Kababs (INR 279) that are our personal favourites. Meat lovers should definitely try out the Hot Rod Chicken (INR 349) which plays with cilantro and Quick-Gun-Murgh-an (INR 379).

For cocktails, we tried a couple of drinks but what stood out for us was the Classic LIIT (INR 599), which is their signature drink. They've given quirky names to some of their cocktails, and they stand out as a Simba, Basanti, Dilli Ka Thug, and Queen.

Tipsy Gypsy’s performance area, which is big enough to fit a four piece band will cater to all kind of musicians. From famous YouTubers to Sufi bands to open mics for upcoming artists, the ‘all day live’ venue has plans almost everyday to knock your boots off in the wildest fashion. What stood out about the space was the excellent sound system and the 72 square feet LED screen, which is the biggest 4K screen in the area. Be it a match or screening of your favourite movie, you know which place to be at.

Like the interior of the place suggests (which has back and white walls with peppy and colourful furniture), the place has a little something for all kind of personalities. Believe us, you’ll definitely find it hard to get out of Tipsy Gypsy once you enter.
