And naturally, this massive gathering of people isn’t good news for anyone venturing in and around this area. Entry of heavy vehicles carrying goods and coming into Mumbai will be restricted today. Similarly, there’s a congestion likely to take place on the Western Express Highway and Eastern Express Highway that will be leading towards BKC. Mumbai Traffic Police has asked commuters to avoid travelling through SCLR, Surve Junction on LBS Road, Sion Junction, Dharavi T Junction, Hansbhugra Marg, CST Road, Nehru Road till Ambedkar Junction and Shardadevi Road.

For those of you planning important meetings, please plan your travel wisely.
The roads are likely to be a wreck till 10pm, so make sure you choose alternate routes such as JVLR, LBS and Eastern Freeway for the eastern suburbs and SV Road and Linking Road for the western suburbs. Read more here.
