The ripple effects of the Koregaon-Bhima violence fallout were felt at various parts of the city. With groups calling for Maharashtra bandh today, there’s tension across the city. At this point, it’s advisable to stay safe and be at home, however if you do have to go out/ or are out, make sure you avoid the following roads.

What You Need To Know

Basis tweets sent out by the Mumbai Police and information on various news portals, here’s what we’ve gathered so far.

1: Avoid using Worli Naka, and take the seaface route instead.

2: Traffic at Eastern Expressway has been affected due to blockade near Ramabai Ambedkar Nagar.

3: Avoid using the Eastern Freeway for some time.

4: Traffic has affected on Western Expressway near Dahisar Naka and Near Oberoi Mall.

5: Avoid using Western Express Highway {there’s more than usual traffic} and use SV Road instead.

6: Various parts of Sion, Chembur, Ghatkopar and Vashi have been affected.

7: Various parts of Bandra West such as Hill Road and Pali Naka have been affected.

8: Central Railway suspended suburban services between Kurla and Vashi on its harbour corridor.

9: Centrail Railway is running special services between CST-Kurla and Vashi-Panvel section.

10: Traffic from Haji Ali Junction has been diverted through Mahalaxmi/ Senapati Bapat Marg temporarily.

11: Avoid Orlem area in Malad.

12: Avoid areas near Infinity Mall in Andheri West.
