Maharaja Bhog
Inspired and implemented in the style Rajwadas and Maharajas savoured their meals.
So this place provides a traditional yet a comforting thaali experience. The best part is that the food here isn't cooked with heavy spices, its light on your stomach. You don't feel heavy and can happily finish a thali all by yourself.
So I am a frequent customer of Maharaja Bhog and this time I visited their Infinity outlet.
The staff I must say is extremely humble. They treat you not as a guest, but as a family serving you with bright smiles and welcoming gestures. They insist you enjoy the food hot, have sufficient quantity and in fact overeat and treat your tummy with the Rajasthani fare.
So I had thali which consisted of:
Welcome drink - Kesar Sandal
Papad
Khandvi
Samosa
Chutney
Salad
Roti
Special roti
Thepla
Green vegetable
Paneer sabji
Lobiya
Dum aloo
Biryani
Khichdi
Meethi daal
Rajasthani daal
Yellow curry
White curry
Dahi wada
Buttermilk
Dessert:
Rice kheer
Dudhi halwa
Gulab jamun
I couldn't believe I ate all this alone but it was indeed delicious! I have always been a fan of Maharaja Bhog and it never disappoints me.
Someday will try the Daal Baati here. Khichdi is served with ghee, roti is served with white makkhan and jaggery which is purely traditional!
Thanks to Mr Ashish Maheshwari for bringing this restaurant into existence.
