What Is It?

Jog Falls, which is proudly titled as the second-highest waterfall in the country comes to life during the monsoon season. The fall created by the Sharavathi river drops from a height of 830 ft. It is located near Sagara taluk in Shimoga district, Karnataka.

The trekking trail is covered with greenery on all sides. So make your way through streams and dense plantation before you reach the majestic falls. Make your way back home with a camera full of memories.

The hike to the waterfall and back takes three days. The Jog Falls trek is scheduled for 29th July, 2nd September and 16th September. It will cost around INR 5000 per person.
