Trek Under The Stars Near Matheran

Test your endurance and enjoy a hike to the top of Garbett Point with Hikerwolf, an outdoor adventure company. The trek is 4 to 5 hours in duration from the base village to the top of the plateau and is for easy to moderate levels of difficulty and endurance.

Departure is from Mumbai CSTM via local train to reach Bhivpuri Road by 11.10 PM from where you walk to the base village. Get to know your fellow hiking enthusiasts, be briefed on safety, and stock up for the hike here. The hike duration depends on the group, but average time is from 4-5 hours. The group will make its way to Matheran from the plateau for the return train back to Mumbai

Garbett Point is one of Matheran's most well-known view points and promises expansive views of the Matheran Ranges and incredible stargazing opportunities at night time. The elevation is uneven and there are both steep and gentle inclines, so you don't get too tired out during the trek.

Don't forget to carry water, personal medicines, change of clothing, ID proof, sports shoes and a torch.
