Phelia Lounge: This place is basically located on the 7th floor of 1st Avenue besides KIA showroom where all the amazing places like Mannrangi and Bombar are located
The place has been beautifully done with the peacock images and even shades of a peacock. They have two sections. One for dinner and drinks and one especially for hookah lovers. Ambience will leave you awestruck and also to my surprise the food was lip-smackingly delicious which is usually not the case with the lounges but this lounge has it all
For starters, we ordered:
1. Classic Nachos: You can never go wrong with nachos. Crisp nachos with the topping of kidney beans and served with cheese and salsa sauce. Amazing
2. Pita Hummus Falafel: Fresh classic hummus served with pita bread and falafel and salad. The hummus was so fresh and delicious and pita bread so soft and falafel just awesome. A must-try dish.
3. Xiangjiang Veg Mix: This was by far one of the best Chinese starters I've ever had. Exotic vegetables, potatoes and cottage cheese mixed with some amazing sauces which were like really spicy and super delicious. Also for sides it was served with cheese nuggets. Don't miss out on this
For drinks, we didn't try much.. stuck to the normal virgin hot toddy
For mains, we tried:
1. Veg Thai Curry with Rice: If you're a fan of Thai dishes, must try their red thai curry with rice. Super delicious
2. Vegetable Hakka Noodles: This was very basic. If you like the normal and authentic hakka noodles, you can give it a try
3. Yucatan Chipotle Paneer: It would be a sin to miss out on this dish if you go to this place. Delicious chipotle gravy with pieces of paneer and rice with the chipotle masala. Paneer was so soft and tender and rice so nicely cooked and chipotle gravy was just outstanding and served with salad on the side. It was full of spices and amazing aroma. Must try
For desserts, they have only two options. Brownie with icecream and caramel custard.
