Powai folks, the people running Mini Punjab are opening their new super cute dhaba-themed restaurant in Powai, Turban Tales on April 16, and we are ecstatic. Do you need a truck to drive down there? We think not.
Mini Punjab's Owners Are Launching A New Dhaba-Themed Restaurant In Powai
Shortcut
Tell Me More
Turban Tales is going the highway. we mean the route of a typical dhaba found on the highways of North India packed with eclectic cushions, colourful trucks and decor.
The owners of Mini Punajab have decided to expand their brand, so the Powai folks can enjoy some good old North Indian fare. To top it all, the restaurant will have a gorgeous lake-side view.
Chow Down
The menu has taken on from Mini Punjab and gone a step further. With its bar menu offering a concoction of cocktails, shooters and their special Patiala iced tea, there’s plenty to choose from.
The food menu, on the other hand, finds itself upgraded. Let us first acknowledge the butter chicken at Mini Punjab to get it out of the way. Turban Tales is offering heavy Punjabi dishes.
Though unlike a roadside dhabba, this one has moderate prices and clearly an upper hand in hygiene. In fact, think of it like a haveli-esque dhabba with a beautiful view of the Powai lake.
So, We're Saying...
Eating out in Powai now comes laden with choices. And with Turban Tale opening on April 16, we’re sure to expect more night outs and dinner date. Like we said, a truck is not mandatory.
