Twinkle in Kemps Corner is like a dream come true for those of us who believe that each day brings a new surprise. Having two stores right next to each other, one for footwear and the other for cosmetics and all things beauty, Twinkle has been one destination that's lesser known to most of us, but still has a large loyal fan following.
The first store, that comprises of footwear, has shoes, juttis and daily wear in every colour, shape and size you can imagine. If you're planning to attend a function, they even have dressy shoes perfect for the occasion. Not just that, they also have an inspiring collection of accessories like belts, bags and purses to pick from, where the prices start at INR 100 for basic clutches to higher end accessories that can go up to a few thousands. The staff is extremely friendly and when we'd paid them a visit carrying our lehenga, they helped us find accessories that went perfectly with them (and all we ended up paying was INR 3,500 for new sandals and a purse!)
The second shop is all about beauty, catering to all the women in that area with brands like Bath & Body Works, Victoria's Secret and the likes. You can get anything here, we're really not kidding. From perfumes to lotions, body washes to hair and makeup products, and even imitation jewellery, it's a hoarder's paradise because you honestly just can't get enough.
