Macramé is a technique that creates knots in thread or string to create patterns. These patterns tie together to craft beautiful decorative pieces. A traditional technique that's prevalent across different cultures, there are a multitude of different styles of creating these unique patterns. You can create beautiful pieces like belts, wall hangings, and more using materials like twine, thread, leather, and hemp.
At Iteeha studio, this workshop held on July 20, will teach you the basics of this craft technique. They'll teach you how to use two of the most common knots to create patterns of your own. The workshop is inclusive of materials - they'll provide you threads, scissors, and beads.
What will you carry home? You'll make two keychains and a potted plant holder in the workshop that you can carry home with you.
