Chow Down
The joint is a two-table setup amidst dhabas and aahar kendras near Four Bungalows, Andheri (W), but holds its own ground. With its USP printed in big bold letters (food cooked and served in earthen clay pots), we couldn’t help but walk inside. Hard to spot, but once you do, you’ll thank yourself.
The menu has stellar dishes such as Kashmiri Pulao (INR 150), chicken vindaloo (INR 210), chicken thali (rice, chicken curry, chapati, papad, raita and dessert for INR 290) and egg thali (INR 270).
Since the eatery is not air-conditioned, we suggest you call for delivery and eat in the comfort of your home. The food is neatly packed in clay pots put and lined with a banana leaf. The best part? You can reuse the clay pots for use at home. We are using one as a planter and the other to keep water for stray animals.
So, We're Saying...
The food here is great, so you can be assured that your lunch will be sorted under INR 300. Split it with a colleague/friend, for the portions are large.
