What Makes It Awesome?

If you are looking for an authentically vegetarian Indian meal you have to head over to the newly opened Delhi Highway at Fort. Boasting of a refined menu that solely uses fresh organic produce, the taste is unparallel.

We had the Thaali: It came with a host of starters. Some spicy Pani Puri to set the tone for the evening. Followed by Sweet Dahi Wada and some crunchy Sev Puri. Tandoori paneer and potato along with vegetable cutlets and some paneer cutlet were also served. I enjoyed the Chaat entree's along with the cutlets. Its fresh flavour refreshes the palette the way that no other food can!

The Thaali was a filling affair. It had this gorgeous black daal, that was to die for. Methi bhaji, paneer, vegetable Pulau, some change- all this served with the side of naans both buttered and plain.

Of course, can't forget the sweet dishes of moong daal cooked in pure ghee and the kheer that was to die for. This was also served with the side of sweet thick lassi and some juice. All in all, the meal was not only satisfying but also great nourishment to the soul. The organic natural flavours shine through it all and the new south Mumbai location is making me go back for more.
