What Makes It Awesome?

Swaad - It's a simple Shetty joint that serves you comfort food that's all vegetarian. Situated in Vile Parle west, there are 2 sections. The first floor is AC. Hygiene is great, the service is good and the food is worth travelling across town for.

Coming to what I had yesterday, we started with their signature drink called Boom. A bit sweet for me but my partner liked it.

Thai Spring rolls - could have been better. Keeping in mind the crowd they cater too it was good. Layer a tad thick, however filling of Diced vegetables with Thai spices was good. Try it out.

Aatish-e-Aloo, this is their signature starter. Liked the presentation. Scooped potatoes with a stuffing of cottage cheese/Chopped onions/chilli/cheese/cilantro - Tandoored. Served with salad.

Multani Mushroom - Must have this amazing rich Dish. Tandoor preparation. This was off the menu (should be in the menu) one of the good ones I have had in recent times. Stuffed with Cheese/Hung curd and cream a bit of chilli and cilantro. Loved this dish.

Nachos Cheese Soup (yes you got this correct) it's basically a creamy broth with nachos cheese added to it. Gives a lovely Velvety texture. Add the nachos which give that crunchiness to the soup. Spices and herbs balanced well.

Sabudana Wada - One of the best I have had. Soft from the inside. Perfectly fried. Golden from outside. Their speciality and the dish of the day I guess. Served with sweet curd. Loved the texture and taste.

Pav Bhaji - again loved the texture/taste/spices balance. A few chopped onions and Butter with bread you are ready to go. Try this out.

Guava ice cream - handmade. Good.

Overall - This is comfort food. One can get North Indian, Chinese, Fast food, South Indian, Italian, Mexican. Go for it.
