Mango Special Menu

What Makes It Awesome?

Botanica, near Opera House, is one among many restaurants in Girgaum area. But what makes it different is that it's pure vegetarian and serves vegetarian dishes with a lot of panache and style. With classy and chic interiors, with the use of fresh colours, this place is really good for a nice summer meal.

The menu is well thought and incorporates a lot of vegetarian dishes across many cuisines. The best part was the Beverages menu and these are some of the best mocktails we have tried in a long time.

They have introduced a new Mango Special Menu which starts from 20th May till the 10th of June. The menu highlights the King of Fruits and we were lucky enough to try some of the dishes. This menu is a must try for all Mango lovers.

Food:
Miso Soup: 4/5
We love our Umame palette being pleased every now and then and Miso Soup from Botanica is one of the best options for doing so. Oozing of pure mushroom goodness, this Japanese soup is a great start to the meal.

Thai Mango Salad: 4/5
Glass noodles with capsicum, cucumber, bell peppers and tangy raw mango adding a sour punch to it.

Asian delight Salad: 4/5
Smoked Glass noodles sauteed in fresh veggies and spicy Oriental Soya chilli dressing are served very cutely in this jar. It not only pleases our eyes but also our tummies.

Mango and Avocado Sushi: 4/5
Creamy avocado and sweet ripe mangoes in a rice and seaweed roll in the form of sushi with some sweet and spicy mango chilli paste. The only thing we missed with this was the power of wasabi, otherwise, it would have been perfect.

Avocado Toasties: 4.5/5
We live for avocados and what better than creamy avocado goodness on toast! Topped with some tart berry puree, this is the perfect dish for all avocado lovers.

Arancini with Mango Chilli Salsa: 5/5
Amazing fried rice balls stuffed with cheese and veggie filling with some creamy cheese sauce and raw mango and chilli salsa. The acidity of the mango and chilli salsa cuts the creaminess of the sauce pretty well and the balance of this dish was perfect. We heart this.

Dips and Pita Platter: 4/5
Greek cucumber Hummus, Harissa Hummus and Good Old chickpea Hummus with Thin Pita and Falafels. This Lebanese combination is our all-time favourite and Botanica serves it quite right!

Mango Sundae with Glass Noodles: 5/5
Homemade Mango Ice Cream with mango pieces in it with some fresh cream and mango pieces. The perfect way to enjoy our Favourite fruit.

Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream: 5/5
The quality of a restaurant can rightly be guessed by its vanilla ice cream. Whichever restaurant aces this subtle yet lovable flavour, is certainly doing it right. Believe us, this is legit one of the best vanilla ice creams in town.

Beverages:
Botanical cooler: 5/5
This drink is a must try! Malta juice and Pomegranate go so well together and with a dash of cinnamon, this is the ideal Mocktail for a hot summer day.

Oriental martini: 4.5/5
Ever thought of Jalapenos in your drink? Jalapenos, olives and thyme with tonic water make us go crazy with this amazing Mocktail.

Kocumber: 4.5/5
The perfect summer Mocktail to reenergize you! Cucumber, Kokam and Soda pack a nice punch together and make you feel refreshed on a hot summer day.

We love a good wholesome vegetarian meal and Botanica has surely provided us with the best one. Their Mango Menu is a must try for everyone this summer and we're definitely going back for more.
