What Makes It Awesome

If you've decided not to head out of the city, well, we'll ask you to stretch it a little bit and make your way to Gorai. We've found a sweet spot that's just a minute away from the beach in a small East Indian village, Culvem. Let's tell you what's in store - nature (in abundance), an outdoor verandah, a covered terrace area, an indoor fireplace and a perfect view of the sea. The villa, called Villa 1959, has two bedrooms and ten beds, and can accommodate up to 10 guests at a time.

While some of you look out for places that have extracurricular activities, we feel that this villa adds its own charm by just being in tune with nature and gives you that much needed breather you've been craving.

Well, if connecting with nature isn't your scene, you can also head out to Uttan or Gorai beach, Essel World or even Water Kingdom, that are pretty close by. We certainly love the sound of this and are already making our plans to head out one quiet weekend. Currently, the place is approximately INR 7,000 per night. But, do check the rates before you book, as they can change.

Pro-Tip

We've heard that the cook makes delicious food, but do keep in mind that you'll have to give them a day's notice if you're looking at this option. Alternately, there are restaurants and bakeries in the nearby village in case you want to dine out or just get food delivered to you. Please note that the property isn't pet friendly.
