Subko is a small but very popular coffee place in the bylanes of Bandra serving up delicious baked goods and mind-blowing coffee. I visited the place 2 times during my trip to Mumbai and managed to try quite a few items on the menu. It is recommended that you visit the place early in the morning to get a hold of their croissants and popular baked items which are the most in-demand or there is a chance that you won't get them later in the day. The vibe of the place is very chilled out and laid back. You will find people of all age groups at the shop and may even be able to hit up a conversation with the folks visiting. Tried the black sesame chicken tart which was delicious. The strawberry tart (a seasonal special) was sweet and so damn good that I could come back every day. The coffee is definitely the best that I have had in a long long time. The sif on the rocks is my absolute favourite with the medium roast and the lavender coffee was divine! Have had nothing like the lavender coffee in my life. I also tried the gingerbread croissant which was filled with yummy cream and topped with gingerbread crumble. If you're in Mumbai and close to Bandra, you must must must visit! It worth the trip even if you're not too far away.
