Gazing at the stars on a quiet night is one of the most blissful things you can do, isn’t it? That’s why we don’t want you to miss the amazing Geminids Meteor shower, which is going to be one of the most spectacular sights with an average of 100-160 meteors an hour. You’ll also be a part of Landscape and Astro Photography Workshop which will help you capture the sightings perfectly.

The 4 day event will be held from December 13 to 17, near Pawna Lake in Lonavala. You can come for a minimum of one night and maximum of 4 nights. The meteor shower is expected to peak on 13th night or the early hours of 14th morning. There will also be a workshop on landscape and astro photography conducted by Ankit Gupta every day.
The cost per head for single day is INR 2,500. If you decide to say for 2 nights, you’ll have to pay INR 4,500, INR 6,000 for three nights and INR 8,000 for 4 nights. This charge is inclusive of tent stay, sleeping bags, sleeping mats, pillows, bluetooth speakers, breakfast and tea, buffet dinner veg/non veg, barbecue veg /non veg and evening snacks. You just have to arrange for your own travel. You can also bring your own tent as that’ll get you decent discounts. There’s be bonfire and amazing music to make your getaway even better.

Make sure you carry extra warm clothes as it can get chilly during the night. Carrying extra mats or carpets will definitely help. Don’t forget your torch to navigate in the dark. Also, carry your camera, tripod and laptop if you will be taking part in the workshop.
