A performing arts institution that's staged a number of award-winning plays and performances, the National Theatre is one of the UK's most well-regarded arts institutions. Due to Covid-19, the theatre has moved to supporting the arts through online initiatives. They are screening live recordings of their famed productions every Thursday. Each of the plays will be released on Thursday and will be available for 7 days after they are released.
The line-up features casts with names that both theatre-goers and movie enthusiasts will recognise - think Benedict Cumberbatch, Johnny Lee Miller, Ralph Fiennes and James Corden.
Head to their YouTube channel and watch out for this amazing line-up of plays that are sure to entertain you, move you, thrill you and transport you for a little while to a different space and time. With talented actors and an unobstructed view of the stage from your couch, this seems like a good addition to your watch party. Here's the schedule:
April 23rd: Twelfth Night
