Gosh, we're getting the goosebumps just while writing this for you to read, but hey, if you live for the thrill of adventure and feel like you just aren't getting to experience such thrills in the city, boy, do we have some news for you. 99 Hikers is organising a monsoon Diksal waterfall rappelling day out on Saturday, August 24. The height of the waterfall is approx. 100 feet, and this will cost you INR 1,000 per person.
Diksal waterfall is located at Bhivpuri in Karjat district. It's a seasonal waterfall that's in all its glory in the monsoons, so this is the best time for you to head out here. The rappelling day out also involves a small hike through the forests and a chance for bird watching.
The meeting point is at 7:35 AM at Bhivpuri Railway Station. You can catch the Karjat slow train from CST at 5:20 AM and get off at Bhivpuri at 7:29 AM. Breakfast will be provided to you at the village and 8:30 AM is when you start the trek to the waterfall. 4:30 PM is when you make your way to Bhivpuri station and then, head back home to Mumbai. The price per person includes traveling to and from Bhivpuri, breakfast, lunch, safety and first aid, expertise charges and 1-time rappelling charges.
