#LBBPicks: Go Waterfall Rappelling This Weekend In Karjat

Apoorva posted on 07 September

Ten-Second Takeaway

Go rappelling down the Bekare waterfall this weekend if you're looking for a little adventure, and also enjoy the panoramic views all around in its Karjat surroundings.

What's It About?

The one-day trip starts with a reporting time of 5am {hello, early birds!} at Kanjurmarg train station. After reaching Bhivpuri station, the group will trek for an hour to the waterfall, which stands roughly at 115 feet. The trek is an easy one, and will be possible for all fitness levels, and will also afford great views of the surroundings. The group will also get to walk along the picturesque Dhom dam while crossing a small stream.

Bekare waterfall is a great spot to go rappelling, especially during the monsoon, when the water overflows and makes rappelling there a choppy affair.

What Else?

Breakfast will be had at Bhekare village, where there will also be an introductory talk about the area and the waterfall specifically. The package includes transportation, breakfast and an evening refreshment, rappelling and guide charges.
