What Makes It Awesome?

You can scratch 'eating authentic tiramisu' off your food list because a new Italian dessert kitchen called Dolcemi has opened in Bandra. It is run by two culinary enthusiasts-turned-chefs, Kaveer and Mirella {who hail from Padua, Italy}.

We had one box full of mini tiramisu and mousse cups called into the office, and truth be told, those nine little containers were wiped clean like dear life depended on it. We tried the traditional tiramisu, the pineapple tiramisu, coffee semifreddo, hazelnut mousse, pannacotta among others. The favourite definitely is the traditional tiramisu which is lightly balanced in flavours and had zero gelatin in it.

In addition, we had a creamy gelato with chocolate drops and biscotti which blew our mind. All these are starting around INR 150 each, depending on the type.

What Could Be Better?

The taste was seriously on point, and the packaging was non-fussy and clean. We do, however, wish that we could order it on the spot! Remember to place your order a day prior so that they can soak the alcohol in just right in the dessert and get it A-okay ready for delivery the next day.

What's My Pro Tip?

When you get your delivery, remember to either eat everything up like a dessert monster or calmly place it inside the fridge. The contents are temperature sensitive and you may be left with a puddle of dessert if you aren't careful.
