What's Happening

It's that time of the year again where Mumbai's iconic Worli Sea Face promenade is getting ready for its annual fest. The Worli Festival, now in its fifth edition, has a new theme this year, which revolves around celebrating the majestic island of Worli, on January 26 and 27.

You can look forward to 14 live performances (Band of Boys, Euphony, Shibani Kashyap and so many more) on the waterfront, with a delicious line-up of food stalls and even a flea market for all you shopaholics.

The festival's main goal is to raise awareness on topics related to the fisherman's island through pledge walls, activities and other sorts of interaction.

Morning Ragas, a show that features Hindustani classical singers, will be held on January 27 at 6 AM. Apart from this, special community zones will celebrate the Kolis of Worli, and there's even a fun zone for kids with activities and games. The entry is free of cost.

Guys, this is a great place to head to over the Republic Day weekend, where you get to enjoy some great music, chomp on some lip-smacking fare, celebrate some great culture and enjoy the sea view!
