Ten-Second Takeaway

Ministry Of New, a co-working space in Fort, is organising a yoga workshop followed by a healthy brunch on Saturday, September 10, for anyone looking for an excuse to get out of their houses.

Yoga For The Soul

In collaboration with Soul & Surf, a Kerala-based yoga company, Ministry of New will be launching its weekly classes post the introductory workshop. All the professionals or health freaks out there looking to unwind and don’t know where to start, this workshop conducted by Hayley Mia is meant to give you a head start and an insight into what these classes will entail – yoga as a form of recreational activity. The weekly yoga classes will be scheduled on Wednesdays from 8.30am to 9.30am for a price of INR 600 per class.

Soul & Surf base their workout sessions around beach vibes, music, health, stretching – basically everything to give the participant a wholesome experience. Vinyasa flow yoga will be the running theme of the workshop – which’ll introduce participants to yoga that synchronises asanas to the tunes of the songs with  focus on breathing and self-energy. It’s almost like a dance, a smooth flow of asanas.  Apart from this, yoga mats made out of natural fibre will be provided at the workshop by Rumi Earth {for the soft landings and asanas}. Post the intense session, stay back and get yourself a healthy organic brunch from their Cafe {not covered by the ticket}. However, you can try the free tasters of banana chia pudding, green smoothies and more.

So, We’re Saying…

Need to push yourself? Head up here on Saturday to get some blood pumping. Yoga is the perfect way to de-stress and leaves everyone with a calm state of mind. Of course, followed by an indulgent brunch and a social? Sign us up already!

#LBBTip: If it helps, the beautifully designed Ministry of New is worth a visit anyway and you can even browse through their unique collection of books in the library {where the session will happen}.

Price: INR 1,200, INR 600 if you’re a member of the co-working space

Timings: 9am onwards; Saturday, September, 10.
