You've Gotta Check Out Bungalow 8 To Add A Touch Of Elegance To Your Home

We’e always shied away from hovering around Bungalow 8, the amazing concept store at SoBo. But this time, we were determined to explore the store and guess what? We regret not having gone earlier.

Located at Wankhede Stadium {yes, literally under the stands}, Bungalow 8 isn’t your usual store- it’s a concept store that houses unusual and unconventional home furnishings, antiques, jewellery and garments. Things such as antique Anglo-India tea sets, modern rustic pottery and exquisite selection of bath paraphernalia that you never knew you needed are all neatly kept alongside each other in this ever-changing, creative display.

Each time you walk into the store, there will be something you didn’t see before, something new that catches your attention. And the best part about Bungalow 8? It induces the want to redecorate your home {that’s a double-edged sword, yes}. You might just landing up buying something just because you don’t want anyone else to own it {guilty as charged}.

There’s a lot inside Bungalow 8 that we love. Frankly, walking around the store, a lot of things made us go ‘wow’, and there were a few things that we could totally add in our cart with their affordable rates. We love the gorgeous animal print plates {INR 850} and the beautiful ceramic ones {INR 2,500} that make for gorgeous wall pieces too.

The glasses {INR 1,200}, though simple, look stunning. They have a whole bunch of artefacts such as face masks {INR 5,500} and even ethnic, vintage boxes {INR 14,000}. There’s plenty more to skim through and watch out for, so feel free to explore. The store has periodic pop-ups and events by designers, so keep an eye out for those.
