What Is It?

Monsoon and waterfalls are just like Feni and Limca, they just go so well together. And Goa in the rains is just all things that make life wonderful, frogs hopping around, lush green paddy fields, misty mountain tops and a cool breeze that sweeps all your worries away. And this Sunday, the June 17, Off Trail Adventures is taking you to one of the most beautiful waterfalls called Santrem in the Mhadei Wildlife Sanctuary.

Who Is It For?

Anyone who loves getting wet and taking walks in the rains, especially in a lush forest across small hills and bubbling streams, this trek is for you. Plus, since it is a moderate, six kilometres long trek, pretty much anyone can do it. They even have central pickup and drop points in Panjim & Margao, so no need to drive yourself all the way there. Plus rains & romance are an unbeatable combination, so maybe just book this trip with bae and enjoy a day out doing something different.

What's So Unique About It?

If you have never visited the Mhadei Wildlife Sanctuary then this is a great opportunity to do so and that too with expert guides and in a group where you will get to meet fellow enthusiasts. Not to mention the chance to see some beautiful vistas, spot an animal or bird or two and even sit under the cascading waters of Santrem Waterfall. Anyone who has experienced the rush of fresh mountain water drenching you with its natural force will attest to it being better than being in a Jacuzzi. Santrem also happens to be off the beaten track, so no hoards of people around, which means it will be your own private picnic spot.
