Shortcut

Bunkker in Goa offers accommodation (aka bunkers) carved out of shipping containers, which are even air conditioned! Meet, party and relax with fellow travellers, all while being 5-minutes away from Vagator beach. Could you even ask for more?

What Makes It Awesome

Located in little Vagator, Bunkker is a hostel made entirely out of upcycled shipping containers. The dorms are basic, and have six beds in each container. You have an option of air conditioned or non air-conditioned rooms as well. It is perfect for backpackers and solo travellers looking for budget accommodation that's well-maintained and fun. The hostel is colourful, with benches and tables in all the bright hues, a common area and a kitchen. You get free Wi-Fi, laundry, housekeeping and cable TV too!

For days you don't want to step out, a simple breakfast of eggs, toast and coffee comes at a small extra charge. Here, you'll often be surrounded by good vibes with folks chilling over a beer, playing the guitar, practicing yoga or catching up on their favourite book. You could even take one of the staff peeps to the market, buy ingredients and cook meals with their help, albeit for an additional charge. There’s an in-house bar as well.

For all of the above, a night here will set you back by INR 300 per person!

P.S. When at Bunkker, ride a bicycle or scooter, and explore Goa on your own. Head to the nearby Vagator beach which is just 750m away or head to Chapora Fort. Don't forget to grab a hearty Goan meal at the Fishtail Bar and Restaurant nearby.

Pro-Tip

They have women-only dorms at the same tariff.
