I always believe in eating food freshly cooked at the restaurant or a cafe itself rather than taking #homedelivery but some days I feel like ordering food at home for a change - that's how I ended up ordering from Santa's Fantasea (one of my favourite food joints, it has unique delicacies and seafood).
I must admit the packaging was excellent, keeping in mind the delicacies I had ordered - it was piping hot even 30 minutes after delivery. Kudos to the restaurant management and the delivery partner for executing that with perfection.
Started off with:
Octopus Maphose which was the only dampener in the overall meal - just enjoyed it.
CrabGheeRoast was spicy and delightfully flavoured as always.
The real deal though was the main course -
MuttonBambooBiryani - delivered in a sealed bamboo, it was a gastronomical treat, overload of mutton and 4 big boneless chunks along with an egg (although the aloo was missing which is obvious because it's not your regular Kolkata Biryani) - loved this tribal delicacy. The quantity was more than enough for two people
Lava Gosht Mutton- It was basically mutton kofta in a cashew nut tomato gravy cooked in a sealed clay pot, the aroma and texture were absolutely mind-blowing.
Couldn't have imagined a better SundayLunch!
My humble two cents: A must try (if you haven't already)!
