What Makes It Awesome?

Abejo has tried to incorporate the Lucknowi food and flavours in their Awadhi restaurant. You can’t find this taste in Pune very easily. They get some of their spices also from Lucknow. The co-owner Neha is from Lucknow and that’s where the concept and originality come from.

Subz Galawati Kebab - Their galawati kebabs are a speciality and they did equal justice with the veg galawati kebabs that the people eating non-veg couldn’t make out if the kebabs were veg or non-veg. They just melted in the mouth.

Paneer Khurchan Phulka Taco - I loved them! The paneer was soft and the flavours were amazing. It was a little spicy as well. This was my favourite dish from the restaurant.

Chena Kofta - The Chenas is supposed to be sweet and used in the preparation of various sweets. Here they are presented with a rich makhani gravy and stuffed with apricots, cashews and raisins.

Dal Makhani - It was damn good! Rich with flavours and generous butter giving a nice lustrous shine.

Mocktails were great, but my personal favourite was the watermelon mojito! Perfect for the weather, not too sweet and the best thirst quencher.

Paan Parfait - I’m in love with this! The ice cream was so good that I could easily eat 2 to 3 portions of it.

How Much Did It Cost?
